Head of Digital Innovations, Fernando Gutierrez, has played a pivotal role in transforming UniTeller’s P2P remittance app from its inception to the groundbreaking uLink SuperApp. With over 20 years of industry experience, Fernando’s career includes over 18 years at the Banorte Group, where he worked as a Product Manager and led initiatives in Digital Innovation and Business Development within the Banking and Financial sectors in both the U.S. and Mexico.
Certified as an Agile Product Owner, Fernando leads and manages a talented team of over 20 professionals. His team consists of Digital Product Managers, Remittances as a Service (RaaS) & Marketing, UI/UX, front-end & back-end developers, and a dedicated customer care team, all working together to drive cutting-edge innovations.
Fernando is based in Austin, Texas, where he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and son. Outside of his professional life, he is passionate about playing music, cooking, and gathering with friends and family.
